Job description
Are you a recent graduate or early-career professional looking to launch your career in risk management? We are seeking a motivated and analytical Junior Risk Consultant to join our team. In this entry-level trainee role, you will support senior consultants in identifying, analyzing, and mitigating risks for our clients or internal departments. You will receive hands-on training, mentorship, and exposure to various industries while developing foundational skills in risk assessment, data analysis, and regulatory compliance. This is an excellent opportunity to grow into a full-fledged Risk Consultant role.
Key Responsibilities
Research & Analysis

Assist in collecting and organizing data related to client risk profiles, industry trends, and regulatory changes.

Support senior consultants in performing risk assessments and gap analyses.

Help prepare risk heat maps, dashboards, and other visual aids to present findings.
Documentation & Reporting

Draft sections of risk reports, presentations, and proposals.

Maintain organized project files, risk registers, and documentation libraries.

Ensure all documentation adheres to internal quality standards and client requirements.
Client & Team Support

Participate in client meetings (virtual or in-person) to take notes and observe consulting best practices.

Coordinate with internal teams to gather information and track project milestones.

Assist in the development of risk management policies, procedures, and training materials.
Learning & Development

Actively participate in training sessions, workshops, and mentorship programs.

Stay current on emerging risks, industry standards, and regulatory updates relevant to the practice.

Work towards relevant certifications (e.g., FRM, PRM, CRM) with company support.
Qualifications
Education & Experience

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field.

0–2 years of professional experience (internships or relevant academic projects count).

Internship or coursework related to risk management, compliance, or data analysis is a plus.
Skills & Competencies

Strong analytical and critical thinking skills; ability to interpret data and identify trends.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel (pivot tables, basic formulas) and PowerPoint.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to summarize complex information clearly.

High attention to detail and organizational skills.

Eagerness to learn, proactive attitude, and ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

Basic understanding of risk management concepts (e.g., financial risk, operational risk, compliance) is preferred but not required.
