Job description

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Project Manager to lead and oversee the successful delivery of key initiatives. In this role, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and closing projects while ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. You will act as the primary liaison between stakeholders, team members, and leadership, driving progress and removing roadblocks.

Key Responsibilities

Project Planning & Initiation

  • Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.

  • Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, milestones, resource allocation, and budget estimates.

  • Identify required team members and define their roles and responsibilities.

Execution & Monitoring

  • Lead project teams, assign tasks, and monitor progress to ensure adherence to the project plan.

  • Track project performance using appropriate tools and techniques (e.g., Gantt charts, KPIs, burndown charts).

  • Manage changes to project scope, schedule, and costs using formal verification and change control processes.

  • Identify and mitigate risks and issues, escalating to leadership when necessary.

Communication & Stakeholder Management

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all project-related communications.

  • Facilitate regular team meetings, status updates, and stakeholder presentations.

  • Prepare and distribute project status reports, ensuring transparency on progress, risks, and wins.

Budget & Resource Management

  • Monitor project budgets, track expenditures, and ensure financial accountability.

  • Optimize the allocation of resources (people, materials, equipment) to maximize efficiency.

Quality Assurance & Closure

  • Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and stakeholder expectations.

  • Conduct post-project evaluations and lessons-learned sessions to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements.

  • Document project closure and archive all relevant records.

Qualifications

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to tailor messaging to technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Financial acumen for budget management and resource planning.
